DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>2023 John Locke Society Conference</strong></p>\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp\;</strong></p>\n\n<p><strong>June 13-15\, 2023</strong></p>\n\n<p><strong>University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign</strong></p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Keynote Speakers:</strong></p>\n\n<p>Margaret Atherton\, Distinguished Professor Emerita\, University of Wisconsin\, Milwaukee.</p>\n\n<p>Holly Brewer\, Burke Chair of American Cultural and Intellectual History\, University of Maryland.</p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2023 John Locke Society Conference will gather scholars interested in any aspect of Locke&rsquo\;s oeuvre\, with the purpose of encouraging Locke scholarship and promoting interaction between experts in different disciplines\, such as philosophy\, theology\, education\, political theory\, intellectual history\, and economic thought.</p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paper proposals concerning any aspect of Locke&rsquo\;s thought\, his influences\, and his impact are welcome. The deadline for submission of paper abstracts (roughly 500 words) is January 15\, 2023.&nbsp\; Presentations will be 40 minutes. Please prepare your abstract for blind review.
