\nThe Political\, Moral\, and Legal Philosophy Research Group (POLEMO) at Central European University cordially invites abstract submission for its \;annual conference\, the \;4th \;POLEMO Symposium \;on \;01-02 June 2023 \;in Vienna\, Austria. The Symposium provides a professional\, stimulating\, and international environment for Ph.D. students and early career researchers in political theory to discuss their works in progress\, establish informal networks\, and initiate future collaborative research.  \; Our aim is to bring together a diverse group of scholars for a lively and productive exchange. We thus encourage applications from groups \;whose backgrounds are under-represented in political theory.
We are happy to announce that our keynote speakers for this year will be:
The conference is open to all topics in contemporary analytic political\, legal and moral philosophy. A special focus this year lies on contributions to legitimacy of global institutions and theories of global justice. \;
\nTo apply\, please send an extended abstract of no more than \;1500 words \;to \;polemo@ceu.edu \;by \;28 \;February 2023. Abstracts should be in PDF format and prepared for blind review. In the body of your email please include your name\, institutional affiliation\, and contact information. \;Submitted abstract should be suitable for a 25-minute presentation\, followed by a 20-minute discussion.
\nNotifications of acceptance will be sent out by \;31 March 2023. Conference attendance is free of charge \;and open to anyone upon registration. \;Please note that POLEMO is unable to provide financial assistance for applicants. If you have any questions\, please contact us at \;polemo@ceu.edu.
