DESCRIPTION:
The Arch&eacute\; Philosophical Research Centre is hosting the 13th Annual Arch&eacute\; Graduate Conference at the University of St Andrews on 19-20 May. We invite graduate students to submit high-quality papers for presentation in the main Arch&eacute\; research areas\, broadly construed. We especially encourage submissions from members of underrepresented groups in philosophy and papers that are aimed at a general philosophical audience. All accepted talks will receive a response from a member of Arch&eacute\;. As well as this\, we are excited to welcome Fraser MacBride (Manchester) and Jade Fletcher (St Andrews) as keynote speakers. We aim to offer free accommodation and provide a substantial travel bursary for all speakers\, though we have elected to not cover the cost of plane tickets for environmental reasons. The conference will be delievered in a hybrid format.This means that\, e.g.\, people will be able to present online\, as well as be able to listen in online.&nbsp\;
\n
Conference Venue: University of St Andrews\, United Kingdom&nbsp\;
\n
Topic Areas:&nbsp\;
\n
\n
\n
Epistemology&nbsp\;
\n
\n
\n
Metaphysics&nbsp\;&nbsp\;
\n
\n
\n
Philosophy of Language&nbsp\;&nbsp\;
\n
\n
\n
Philosophy of Mind&nbsp\;
\n
\n
\n
Logic (and Philosophy of Logic)&nbsp\;&nbsp\;
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
Metaphilosophy&nbsp\;
\n
\n
\n
Feminist Philosophy and Social Theory&nbsp\;
\n
\n
\n
Eligibility:&nbsp\;
\n
Any graduate student (except those currently enrolled in the University of St Andrews).&nbsp\;
\n
Submission Requirements:&nbsp\;
\n
Submissions should include an abstract with keywords (max. 250 words) and a paper no longer than 4\,000 words (including foot- and endnotes\, excluding the bibliography).
