DESCRIPTION:<p>The Open Student Workshop on Global Priorities Research aims to help students from traditionally underrepresented groups learn about global priorities research\, develop their research ideas\, and equip them with the information and networks needed to succeed as global priorities researchers.</p>\n<p>Participants in this four-day workshop will attend the 12th Oxford Workshop on Global Priorities Research (19-20 June 2023)\, an interdisciplinary workshop organised by the Global Priorities Institute. They will also receive personalised 1:1 career- and research-coaching from GPI staff members and other members of the global priorities research community\; attend presentations and discussions on global priorities research\, career planning and experiences in academic research\; and participate in networking and social events.</p>\n<p>The cost of (domestic or international) travel and accommodation in Oxford\, UK will be fully covered for all participants and meals will be provided. Costs for visa applications will also be covered for participants requiring a visa to enter the UK.</p>
