DESCRIPTION:<p>&ldquo\;Kierkegaard and the Present Age\,&rdquo\; a conference hosted by Brigham Young University\, will celebrate the 200th&nbsp\;anniversary of Kierkegaard&rsquo\;s birth by examining Kierkegaard&rsquo\;s significance for our current moment. This interdisciplinary conference will focus on the appropriation of Kierkegaard&rsquo\;s writings and his relevance for contemporary thought across disciplines today. Papers addressing the importance of Kierkegaard&rsquo\;s thought for disciplines such as philosophy\, aesthetics\, religious studies\, women&rsquo\;s studies\, history\, the natural sciences and the social sciences are welcome. Papers may therefore consider the significance of Kierkegaard&rsquo\;s thought for a wide variety of contemporary issues. Discussion of the new edition of&nbsp\;<em>S&oslash\;ren Kierkegaards Skrifter&nbsp\;</em>for current Kierkegaard scholarship as well as the&nbsp\;series<em>Kierkegaard Research: Sources\, Reception and Resources</em>&nbsp\;is also welcome.</p>\n<p>The conference languages will be both Danish and English.
