DESCRIPTION:<p>The Formal Epistemology Workshop 2023 will be co-hosted by&nbsp\;<strong>Northeastern University's Department of Philosophy and Religion&nbsp\;</strong>and&nbsp\;<strong>MIT's Department of Linguistics and Philosophy</strong>.</p>\n<p>It will take place at the <strong>Cabral Center</strong><strong>\, Northeastern University Campus\, Boston</strong> on <strong>12-14 June 2023</strong>.</p>\n<p>Submissions</p>\n<p>We invite paper submissions in formal epistemology broadly construed\, including but not limited to probability\, decision and game theory\, philosophy of science\, logic\, philosophy of language\, social epistemology\, as well as suitable papers that intersect with aligned scientific disciplines\, such as computer science\, psychology\, and statistics.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Paper submissions should be no longer than 6\,000 words and should be accompanied by an abstract of maximally 200 words.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Accepted papers should be suitable for 45 minutes presentation time\, followed by 10-15 minutes commentary\, and 45 minutes of general discussion.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Graduate students whose submissions are not selected for the main program may be invited to give a 10 minute poster presentation.</p>\n<p>We welcome and strongly encourage submissions from members of underrepresented groups in philosophy\, as well as early career researchers and students.</p>\n<p>All submissions should be prepared for anonymous review.</p>\n<p>https://sites.google.com/view/few2023/home&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Financial Support</p>\n<p>Graduate students whose submissions are accepted to the main program will be eligible for funding for accommodation and travel.
