He has been a visiting scholar at Washington University (Saint Louis)\, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) and the University of Oxford. He was secretary of the Institute of Peace and Conflicts and secretary and head of the Department of Philosophy I of the University of Granada. He is the author of the books&nbsp\;<em>Ciencia\, valores y relativismo</em>&nbsp\;(<em>Science\, values and relativism</em>\, Comares) and&nbsp\;<em>&Eacute\;tica\, tecnolog&iacute\;a y seguridad</em>&nbsp\;(<em>Ethics\, technology and security</em>\, Uniminuto). He is also the author of numerous articles on philosophy of technology\, political philosophy and epistemology\, published in academic journals like&nbsp\;<em>Philososophical Issues\, Dialectica\, Theoria\, The Journal of Bioetical Enquiry</em>\,&nbsp\;<em>Metaphilosophy&nbsp\;</em>and&nbsp\;<em>Philosophy and Technology</em>.
