DESCRIPTION:<p>Submissions are now open for Abstracts and Proposals for Symposia to be presented at the <strong>4th Lisbon International Conference on Philosophy of Science (LICPOS 2023)</strong>\, organized by the <atarget="_blank">Centre for Philosophy of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (CFCUL)</a> on its 20th anniversary. The Conference will take place in Lisbon\, at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (Ci&ecirc\;ncias ULisboa)\, on <strong>July 12-15\, 2023</strong>. As a satellite event\, on July 15\, LICPOS 2023 will host the 2nd Meeting of the <atarget="_blank">Iberian Network of Philosophy of Science (ReIFiCi)</a>.</p>\n<p>The Lisbon International Conferences on Philosophy of Science are periodic conferences directed to a wide audience with interests in the philosophy of science broadly conceived. Reflecting the main lines of research of <atarget="_blank">CFCUL</a> \, we are especially interested in proposals related to:</p>\n<p>Epistemology and Methodology\;<br> General Philosophy of Science\;<br> Philosophy of Logic and Mathematics\;<br> Philosophy of Physics\;<br> Philosophy of the Life Sciences\;<br> Philosophy of Artificial Intelligence and Computation\;<br> Philosophy of Cognitive Sciences\;<br> Philosophy of Technology\;<br> Philosophy of the Human Sciences\, Ethics\, and Politics\;<br> Science and Art.</p>\n<p>However\, we invite scholars working on any topic of interest in philosophy of science to attend the conference.</p>\n<p>The Abstracts (20-minutes talks) and the Proposals for Symposia (90-minutes sessions) will be submitted exclusively through the submission forms available <a href="https://lisbonicpos2023.campus.ciencias.ulisboa.pt/submissions">HERE</a>.</p>\n<p>The <strong>deadline</strong> for the submissions is <strong>April 16\, 2023</strong>.</p>\n<p>The conference will be <strong>exclusively in person</strong>. Online presentations will not be accepted. The language of the conference is English.</p>\n<p>A selection of papers will be published in a special issue of <atarget="_blank">Global Philosophy\, </a>former Axiomathes (Springer).</p>\n
