\nSubmission requirements
\nIf you wish to apply\, please submit an abstract of between 500-1000 words (not counting references or the reference list). The abstract should be in PDF form\, be prepared for blind review and have the word count included. It should be sent to ceppaconference@st-andrews.ac.uk by 11.59 pm (GMT) on 31 March\, 2023. \;Please specify your affiliation\, current position/qualifications\, and the general area(s) of your talk (submitters don't need to mention any of the ongoing projects at CEPPA). \;Papers should be suitable for a presentation of approximately 25 minutes. We expect to send out notifications of acceptance sometime in the \;second half of April.
\nEligibility
\nWe welcome submissions from postgraduate students at any stage in their studies (except those currently enrolled at the University of St Andrews) and encourage submissions from members of underrepresented groups in particular. If you identify as a member of an underrepresented group\, feel free to include this information in your email (not in the PDF). \;
\nIndividuals who have finished their PhD are welcome to apply provided they submitted their thesis no sooner than one year before the start of the conference (i.e.\, on May 30\, 2022\, or later).
\nAll accepted papers will receive comments during the conference from faculty and postgraduate students on the St Andrews and Stirling Graduate programme in Philosophy (SASP). We aim to design the conference programme in such a way that it ensures balanced representation and provides valuable feedback to participants.
