DESCRIPTION:<p>The Philosophy Department at the University of Pittsburgh will be hosting a one-day memorial conference on Saturday October 12th in honor of our former colleague Annette Baier.&nbsp\;We invite you to join us in our remembrance and celebration of the many ways in which\, as friend\, colleague\, and mentor\, Annette touched and enriched our lives. &nbsp\;</p>\n<p>We will be pleased to offer food and beverages on the day of the conference (as indicated on the program)\, if you contact Collie Henderson (collie@pitt.edu) to let us know that you plan to attend.&nbsp\; Also\, please alert Collie to any dietary restrictions (vegetarian\, vegan\, etc.) that may apply.&nbsp\; We are also reserving a block of rooms at the Wyndham Pittsburgh University Center (formerly the Holiday Inn).&nbsp\; The number is 412-682-6200.&nbsp\; When you reserve your room\, please mention that you are visiting for the Annette Baier memorial conference\, to ensure billing at the University rate.</p>\n<p>We hope that you will be able to join us for this occasion and look forward to seeing you in Octobe</p>
