DESCRIPTION:<p>On&nbsp\;Friday\, August 9\, the Department of Philosophy at the University of Sydney will be hosting a workshop on Hegel&rsquo\;s Logic to coincide with a visit by Professor Michael Quante.</p>\n<p><br>Professor Quante is University Professor of Philosophy at the Westf&auml\;lische Wilhelms-Universit&auml\;t\, M&uuml\;nster and author of many works on Hegel including Hegel&rsquo\;s Philosophy of Action\, (Cambridge University Press\, 2004). He is also co-editor\, with Dean Moyar\, of Hegel&rsquo\;s Phenomenology of Spirit: A Critical Guide (Cambridge University Press\, 2008)\, and editor of the journal Hegel-Studien.<br><br>The workshop will take the form of a series of presentations on various aspects of Hegel&rsquo\;s logic\, each followed by discussion.
