DESCRIPTION:WE ARE HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THE 2ND&nbsp\; CROATIA LIBORI SUMMER SCHOOL FROM 19TH TO 22ND OF JUNE 2023 IN ZAGREB\n<em>WOMEN PHILOSOPHERS AND SCIENTISTS ON PSYCHOLOGY\, MIND AND BODY AWARENESS&nbsp\;</em>\n<p>The Libori Summer School is co-organized by the Institute for Philosophy Zagreb and the Center for the History of Women Philosophers and Scientists\, Paderborn University.</p>\n<p>Further information and the procedure for registration can be found on the organizer&rsquo\;s Webpage:&nbsp\;https://cizuf.ifzg.hr/croatia-libori-summer-school-2023/</a></p>\nCALL FOR ABSTRACTS: CROATIA LIBORI SUMMER SCHOOL 2023\n<p><strong>&ldquo\;Women Philosophers and Scientists on Psychology\, Mind and Body Awareness&rdquo\;</strong></p>\n<p>Long before the advent of psychology proper\, psychologic issues were essential concerns of women philosophers. Beginning with authors of the 17th&nbsp\;century\, this summer school will retrace the development of ideas concerning mind\, emotions\, introspection\, psychic causality\, moral principles of psychology\, identity\, and the awareness and description of the body. Culminating in the early 20th&nbsp\;century\, we will address and discuss perspectives that preserve the philosophical heritage of psychology vis-&agrave\;-vis the development of clinical psychology and physiology. Since Descartes\, the importance of the continued effort to connect questions about body and mind remains as a central philosophical concern. We are inviting contributions dealing with women thinkers in the context of the history of psychology\, psychological philosophy\, theory of emotions and values\, and ethical questions related to psychology ranging from 17th&nbsp\;to early 20th&nbsp\;century.</p>\n\nDEADLINE FOR ABSTRACT: 15TH OF MAY 2023.\nREGISTRATION DEADLINE: 31ST OF MAY 2023.\n\n<p><strong>ECTS</strong>: Participation in the Summer School (including a presentation and discussion) gives 4 ECTS.</p>\n<p><strong>Participation fee</strong>&nbsp\;(for lunches and excursion on the last day) is 100&euro\; per person. Payment details will be provided upon successful submission.</p>\n<p><strong>Abstract submission</strong>: Abstracts must be ca. 500 words in length. Every participant will give a 20-minute presentation based on the abstract submitted.</p>\n<p><strong>How to submit an abstract</strong><br>1.
