DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>Call for Papers:</strong></p>\n<p>Session for the&nbsp\;<strong>International Society for Environmental Ethics</strong>&nbsp\;at the&nbsp\;<strong>Central APA</strong></p>\n<p>Dates:&nbsp\;February 21-24\, 2024</p>\n<p>Location: New Orleans\, LA</p>\n<p><strong>Deadline for submissions: August 15\, 2023</strong></p>\n<p>ISEE invites submissions for&nbsp\;individual presentations (approximately 20 minutes) or proposals&nbsp\;for themed sessions (particular topics\, author-meets-critics\, etc.) in any area of ethics and the&nbsp\;environment. &nbsp\;</p>\n<p>You do not need to be a member of ISEE to submit a proposal\; however\, if accepted we ask that all presenters have a current annual membership in the society ($50 regular / $35 student). Membership dues help fund room and A/V expenses at the APA\, along with the other activities of the Society. Financial assistance with membership is available on a case-by-case basis. For information on membership:&nbsp\;<a target="_blank">https://enviroethics.org/membership-dues/</a></p>\n\n<p><strong>Submission Procedure</strong></p>\n<p>For individual paper submissions\, please submit either: (1) a 500-word abstract\, or (2) a full paper (approx. 3000 words). Before submitting\, please confirm you will be able to attend the APA if your presentation is accepted.</p>\n<p>For themed sessions\, please submit the proposed session title\, a brief description of the session\, names of all those participating\, and titles for each paper/presentation. Paper abstracts (of approx. 500 words) are strongly encouraged. Participants should be confirmed as willing to attend if the session goes forward.</p>\n<p><strong>Materials should be submitted in Microsoft Word or PDF format to ISEE Treasurer Levi Tenen (</strong>levitenen@gmail.com)<strong>&nbsp\;by August 15\, 2023.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Please make the subject of your email:</strong>&nbsp\;ISEE Central APA 2024</p>
