DESCRIPTION:<p>This is the eighth in a high-profile annual series alternating between the University of Southampton and Humboldt University\, Berlin.</p>\n<p>The conference will bring together established and up-and-coming philosophers to share new work on normativity in and across different domains&mdash\;moral\, prudential\, epistemic\, aesthetic\, legal\, semantic\, and so on. This includes work on foundational problems concerning reasons\, rationality\, obligation\, and value\, as well as questions concerning similarities and differences between different normative domains. Our primary aims are to provide a forum for lively and constructive exchange amongst philosophers currently working at the cutting-edge of the field\, and to bring philosophers in different sub-disciplines&mdash\;ethics\, epistemology\, aesthetics\, etc.&mdash\;into productive dialogue with one another.</p>\n<p>This conference is organised in accordance with the BPA/SWIP good practice scheme and is sponsored by the Mind Association\, the Aristotelian Society\, the Analysis Trust\, the Southampton Ethics Centre\, and the Southampton Philosophy Department.</p>\n<p><strong><br></strong></p>\n<p><strong>Talks</strong></p>\n<p>The talks will run from 10am-6pm each day of the conference.
