DESCRIPTION:<p>The IPA invites submissions in any area of philosophy. The meeting will include special sessions in areas of Ethics\, broadly construed. Submitted papers should be (i) no more than 3000 words\, (ii) prepared for blind review\, and (iii) accompanied by a separate page that includes title\, author information (name\, affiliation\, and contact information)\, and an abstract not exceeding 150 words. Materials should be submitted to Brian Johnson at johns383@purdue.edu.</p>\n<p>Suggestions for commentators and session chairs (including self-nominations) are also welcome. Examples of Potential Special Sessions Include: Feminist Ethics\; Environmental Ethics\; Other Topics in Applied Ethics\; Normative Theory\; and Metaethics</p>\n<p><strong><br></strong></p>\n<p><strong>Deadline</strong> for Submissions: 15 September 2023</p>\n<p><strong>Decisions</strong> will be sent out no later than 01 November 2023</p>\n<p><strong>Papers</strong> should be (i) no more than 3000 words\, (ii) prepared for blind review\, and (iii) accompanied by a separate page that includes title\, author information (name\, affiliation\, and contact information)\, and an abstract not exceeding 150 words.</p>\n<p>Submissions be sent to Brian Johnson at johns383@purdue.edu.</p>\n<p><br><strong>Graduate Paper Prize</strong>: The IPA will present an award to the best paper submitted by a graduate student. The award will be accompanied by a cash prize of $100. Graduate student papers submitted for the competition should be identified as such on the title sheet.</p>\n<p><strong>David McCarty Prize in Logic</strong>: This prize is awarded in honor of David McCarty in recognition of outstanding work in logic and the philosophy of mathematics.
