DESCRIPTION:<p>The Society for German Idealism and Romanticism is pleased to invite abstract submissions pertaining to the broad categories of philosophy of art and aesthetic normativity for the 2024 annual conference of the SGIR at the University of Cambridge.</p>\n<p>We welcome talks that explore the contemporary inheritance of insights from idealism and romanticism as well as talks that fall within the history of philosophy. The conference will take place in person\, but talks will also be streamed for attendees who are unable to join in person. Submissions should be approximately 500 words and are due by Nov. 15th and will undergo a double-blind review process. Notifications of acceptance will be sent out by January 15th.
