DESCRIPTION:The philoSOPHIA Executive Committee (EC) is delighted&nbsp\;to share our&nbsp\;<strong>2024 philoSOPHIA Call for Proposals (CFP).&nbsp\;</strong>This year's conference will&nbsp\;be held from&nbsp\;<strong>March 14-17</strong>&nbsp\;as a hybrid event\, both virtually and in-person at Mt. Royal University in Calgary (Treaty 7 Territory\, Canada)\, featuring keynotes from Qrescent Mali Mason (Haverford College)\, Natalie Loveless (University of Alberta)\, and a special plenary session by sound studies philosopher Robin James.&nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;\nThe theme is&nbsp\;<strong>"Feminist Making\, Doing\, and Sensing\,"&nbsp\;</strong>and we welcome proposals for participatory workshops and experimental making/doing sessions in addition to papers. We are also in the early stages of&nbsp\;reaching out to editors about submitting a collection of papers\, arts-based work\, and other forms of feminist thinking into&nbsp\;a special journal issue or volume.\n<strong><br></strong>\n<strong>The deadline for proposals is September 25\, 2023</strong>.
