DESCRIPTION:<p>Faculty\, graduate students\, undergraduates\, and independent scholars from anywhere in the world are invited to submit abstracts for the 2024 joint meeting of the South Carolina Society for Philosophy (SCSP) and the North Carolina Philosophical Society (NCPS). Proposals or panels on any topic of philosophical interest are welcome. Undergraduate students should plan to submit their full papers of approximately 3000 words\; others may submit abstracts of approximately 500 words. All submissions for the SCSP should be anonymized and emailed to the SCSP leadership (SCSPhilosophy@gmail.com) by January 15th\, 2024 (<strong>DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED</strong>)\, and should include a title and a few possible categories into which the paper could fit on the program if accepted. In the body of your email\, please indicate your name\, institutional affiliation (if any)\, status (e.g.\, faculty\, graduate student\, etc.)\, contact information\, and whether you wish your paper to be considered for a Society prize (see below).</p>
