The aim of the workshop is to foster innovative new work in business ethics by \;integrating insights from social and applied epistemology\, as well as feminist theory.
\nInsights from social epistemology have increasingly helped to inform debates in ethics \;and political philosophy. At the same time\, there has been a growing body of work at the \;intersection of social epistemology and feminist theory. This work analyzes the relationship between \;knowledge\, society\, and intersectional experiences of oppression and privilege.
\nHowever\, despite the deep relevance that this work has to business ethics\, we find that the \;connections between these areas have received little attention and have been largely underexplored \;and undertheorized in recent literature.
\nThis workshop aims to make much-needed progress \;towards bridging these gaps by supporting scholarship in business ethics which draws upon \;perspectives in social\, epistemic\, and feminist philosophy.
\nThe workshop will be held at Bentley University\, in the suburbs of Boston\, March 8 &\; 9\, 2024.
