The Romanian-Polish Workshop in Causation\, Understanding\, and Knowledge: New Perspectives and Challenges is hosted by the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Bucharest. The event is scheduled to take place November 20th\, 2023\, as a face-to-face conference\, but online participation (via Zoom) will be available. Registration is possible via PhilEvents up until the day prior to the event.
\nThe conference is organized in partnership between: (a) the Polish Academy through its \;Institute of Philosophy and Sociology\; (b) \;the Romanian Academy through its "Constantin \;Rădulescu-Motru" Institute of Philosophy and Psychology and its "Francisc Rainer" Institute of Anthropology\; (c) \;the University of Bucharest through its Center for Logic\, Philosophy and History of Science (CELFIS).
\nThe research project that made the event possible is titled "Inquiries into \;model-based explanation and understanding".
