DESCRIPTION:<p>The South African Society for Critical Theory (SASCT) is pleased to announce its upcoming 5th&nbsp\;Annual Conference&nbsp\;on the theme of Critical Theory and Nature\, which will take place at the University of the Free State from the 16th&nbsp\;to the 18th&nbsp\;of November 2023\, will be a&nbsp\;<strong>hybrid conference.&nbsp\;</strong>Anyone wishing to attend remotely is welcome to do so.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>If you would like a list of the abstracts and the full conference timetable then please email&nbsp\;gregswer@gmail.com</a></p>\n\n<p><strong>The Society is pleased to announce that its keynote speakers will be:</strong></p>\n<p><strong><br></strong></p>\n<p>Professor Ariel Salleh\, Distinguished Visiting Scholar in the Centre on Labour\, Sustainability and Global Production\, Queen Mary University of London in 2023 and Visiting Professor\, Faculty of Humanities\, Nelson Mandela University\, South Africa.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>And:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Professor Louise Green\,&nbsp\;Associate Professor of English at Stellenbosch University\, South Africa.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>And:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Professor Andrew Biro\, Associate Professor and Canada Research Chair in&nbsp\;Political Ecology and Environmental Political Theory&nbsp\;at Acadia University\, Canada.</p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp\;</strong></p>\n\n<p>Anyone wishing to attend the conference remotely is welcome to do so.
