And some of the analyses are primarily analytical and conceptual\, while others are logical and formal.&nbsp\;The main goal of the workshop is to bring these together to exchange results and discuss different views.
\n

\n
Invited speakers&nbsp\;
\n
Branden Fitelson (Northeastern University)
\n
Marc Slors (Radboud University Nijmegen)
\n
Sonja Smets (University of Amsterdam)
\n
Deborah Tollefsen (The University of Memphis)
\n
&nbsp\;
\n
Program committee
\n
Michael Beaney (Humboldt Universit&auml\;t&nbsp\;/ University of Aberdeen)
\n
Bo Chen (Wuhan University)
\n
Catharina Dutilh-Novaes (Free University of Amsterdam)
\n
Jie Gao (Zhejiang University)
\n
Thomas Hofweber (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill)
\n
Asher Jiang (Tsinghua University)
\n
Hao Tang (Tsinghua University)
\n

\n
Call for papers
\n
The call for papers welcomes contributions on topics within the theme\, such as:&nbsp\;
\n
-&nbsp\;intention\, agency\, decision-making
\n
-&nbsp\;responsibility and norms
\n
-&nbsp\;forms of identity
\n
-&nbsp\;individuals in social networks
\n
-&nbsp\;group dynamics
\n
-&nbsp\;ontology of groups and institutions
\n
Contributed papers on other topics in the area of logic and philosophy are welcome as well.
\n
Scholars who want to contribute should send an abstract of approximately 1200 words (not including references) to: logicandphilosophyworkshop@gmail.com
\n
The abstract should be properly anonymised\, so include a separate page with name\, affiliation\, and contact details.
\n
All submissions will be reviewed by an independent program committee.
\n
The possibility to publish selected papers in a special journal issue (of\, e.g.\, Topoi&nbsp\;or Philosophies) is actively being explored.
\n

\n
Important dates
\n
-&nbsp\;January 15\, 2024: deadline for submission of abstracts:
\n
-&nbsp\;February 16\, 2024: notification of acceptance:
\n
-&nbsp\;May 25-26\, 2024: workshop
\n
&nbsp\;
\n
Venue
\n
The workshop will take place at Tsinghua University\, Beijing.
\n

\n
Organising committee:
\n
-&nbsp\;Martin Stokhof (University of Amsterdam &amp\; Tsinghua University)
\n
-&nbsp\;Yiyan Wang (Shanxi University)
\n

\n
Sponsors
\n
-&nbsp\;Tsinghua University - University of Amsterdam Joint Research Centre for Logic
\n
-&nbsp\;Section of Western Philosophy of the Department of Philosophy\, Tsinghua &nbsp\;University
\n
-&nbsp\;School of Philosophy\, Shanxi University
