DESCRIPTION:<p>2014 Meeting of the South Carolina Society for Philosophy</p>\n<p>February 14-15\, 2014 at Furman University in Greenville\, SC</p>\n<p>Keynote Speaker: <strong>Robert Talisse (Vanderbilt University)</strong><strong></strong></p>\n<p><strong>Call for Papers</strong></p>\n<p>Faculty and students from anywhere in the world are invited to submit a paper for the 2014 Meeting of the South Carolina Society for Philosophy. Papers dealing with any topic in philosophy are welcome.</p>\n<p><strong>For all submissions\, abstracts of 400-500 words are required by December 1st\, 2013</strong>. Abstracts should be in a format suitable for blind review\, include a title and a category (or two) in which the paper might fit at the conference. Please send a separate cover page listing the author&rsquo\;s name\, affiliation\, mailing address\, phone number\, and email.&nbsp\; Final papers should be able to be presented in 25 minute slots at the conference (followed by time for questions).</p>\n<p><strong>Panel proposals on any topic in philosophy are also welcome</strong>.&nbsp\; Proposals should include abstracts for each presentation\, a page specifying the topic\, format (including time required)\, the names and contact information for all panelists\, and titles for each paper/presentation.</p>\n<p><strong>Graduate and Undergraduate students must also submit full papers by January 5\, 2014</strong>. Full papers should be less than 3\,000 words\, double spaced\, and prepared for blind review.&nbsp\; Prizes will be awarded for the best paper authored by a South Carolina graduate student and also the best paper authored by a South Carolina undergraduate student.&nbsp\; On the first page of the paper\, please indicate author&rsquo\;s institution and whether a graduate student or undergraduate student.</p>\n<p><strong>Submission Instructions:</strong><br>Email your submissions to J.
