DESCRIPTION:<p>Die XI. Tagung f&uuml\;r Praktische Philosophie wird am 19. &amp\; 20. September 2024 an der Universit&auml\;t Passau stattfinden.</p>\n<p>Die Tagung f&uuml\;r Praktische Philosophie ist mit 150 Vortragenden zu mehr als 100 Themen eine der gr&ouml\;&szlig\;ten deutschsprachigen Philosophietagungen. Die Tagungsbeitr&auml\;ge reichen von Themen im Bereich der Technikphilosophie und K&uuml\;nstlicher Intelligenz &uuml\;ber Flucht und Migration bis hin zu Klimakrise und Medizinethik. Die Tagung versteht sich als ein Ort der offenen und wertsch&auml\;tzenden philosophischen Diskussion\, der insbesondere j&uuml\;ngeren Wissenschaftler:innen ein wertvolles Forum bietet\, ihre Arbeiten einem internationalen Publikum vorzustellen. Beitr&auml\;ge aus angrenzenden Fachbereichen\, etwa aus den Bildungs-\, Sozial- und Rechtswissenschaften sowie aus der Politikwissenschaft\, sind ebenfalls willkommen.</p>\n<p>Die Tagung f&uuml\;r Praktische Philosophie wurde 2013 von Gunter Graf\, Martina Schmidhuber\, Gottfried Schweiger und Michael Zichy an der Universit&auml\;t Salzburg ins Leben gerufen\, wo sie bis 2023 stattfand. Ab&nbsp\;2024 wird die Tagung an der Universit&auml\;t Passau unter der Leitung von Karoline Reinhardt und in Kooperation mit Birgit Beck von derTUBerlin in Zusammenarbeit mit Michael Zichy von der Universit&auml\;t Bonn und Gottfried Schweiger von der Paris-Lodron Universit&auml\;t Salzburg fortgef&uuml\;hrt.</p>\n<p>Informationen\, CfP und Anmeldung: tagung-praktische-philosophie.org</p>\n<p>//</p>\n<p>The XI. Conference for Practical Philosophy will take place from 19. to 20. September 2024 at the University of Passau\, Germany.</p>\n<p>The Conference for Practical Philosophy is counted as one of the largest german-speaking philosophical conferences\, involving 150 speakers and more than 100 topics each year. The contributions vary from philosophy of technology andAIover migration to climate and medical ethics. The conference sees itself as a place of open and appreciating philosophical discussion\, providing a forum especially for young scientists to present their work to an international public. Contributions from neighbouring disciplines\, such as education\, social and political sciences or law\, are accepted as well.</p>\n<p>The Conference for Practical Philosophy was launched by Gunter Graf\, Martina Schmidhuber\, Gottfried Schweiger und Michael Zichy at the Paris-Lodron-University of Salzburg in 2013\, where it took place for 10 years until 2023.
