DESCRIPTION:<p>The second annual Philadelphia Normative Philosophy Conference will be held at the University of Pennsylvania on October 4th-5th\, 2024.</p>\n<p>We anticipate 30 talks\, ranging widely across all of normative philosophy\, very broadly construed. Conference presentations will be 30 minutes\, and each paper will be assigned a commentator.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Philadelphia is a fantastic city for philosophy\, with many philosophers at the institutions in the greater Philadelphia region\, and it is accessible for many outside of the area. Please submit an abstract of no more than 500 words\, formatted for blind review\, to&nbsp\;philnormphilconf@gmail.com\, and include your name and institutional affiliation in the body of your email. Please also indicate whether you would be interested in commenting on a paper\, should your abstract not be selected.</p>\n<p>Abstracts are due April 15th\, 2024. Applicants will be notified of decisions by May 15th. Papers of roughly 4000-4500 words will be due to commentators on August 1st\, 2024.</p>
