DESCRIPTION:<p>We invite the submission of individual paper abstracts for &amp\;HPS5\, the 5th conference of a series of international conferences under the general heading of "Integrated History and Philosophy of Science". Previous conferences took place at the University of Pittsburgh\, Center for Philosophy of Science (2007)\, University of Notre Dame\, the History and<br> Philosophy of Science Graduate Program (2009)\, Indiana University\, Department of History and Philosophy of Science (2010)\, and University of Athens\, Department of Philosophy and History of Science (2012). Further information on these conferences: http://www.pitt.edu/%7Epittcntr/About/international_partnerships/andHPSpage.html</p>\n<p>Contributions combining the historical and philosophical analysis of science (covering also the social and cultural sciences) or discussing issues surrounding an integrated HPS are welcome.<br> <br> Proposals for papers (Word or pdf format) should contain:<br> - Title and abstract of the paper (1000 words)<br> - In the case of papers dealing with related topics we welcome the submission of proposals for symposia.
