DESCRIPTION:<p><a  href="https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84896147567"  target="_blank" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?q=https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84896147567&amp\;source=gmail&amp\;ust=1715411114731000&amp\;usg=AOvVaw0cilgwH-641JB-7d2G5L5g">https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84896147567</a></p>\n\n<p>Dear associates and esteemed colleagues\,</p>\n<p>with joy and undisguised enthusiasm\, we announce that the <strong>8th International Transdisciplinary Symposium <em>Bioethics and Aporia of Psyche</em></strong> will be held on <strong>May 9 and 10\, 2024.</strong></p>\n<p>The symposium will be held in a combined version that includes<strong> live</strong> presentations and those in the<strong> online </strong>module.</p>\n<p>This year's main topics of the symposium are:</p>\n<p>&ndash\; <strong>culture of empathy and mental health</strong></p>\n<p><strong></strong>&ndash\; <strong>philosophical practice focused on work with special groups\;</strong></p>\n<p>&ndash\;<strong> existential psychotherapy in contemporary context</strong></p>\n<p>&ndash\; <strong>improvement and protection of mental health in the community.</strong></p>\n<p>We will also enrich the program with the presentation of the latest publications\, round tables\, workshops\, forum theatre performances and art exhibitions. The official languages of the symposium are <strong>Croatian</strong> and <strong>English</strong>.</p>\n<p><strong>Participation fees</strong> for speakers are: <strong>30 euros</strong> <strong>for researches</strong>\, and <strong>15 euros</strong> <strong>for students\, retired or unemployed persons. </strong></p>\n<p>The venue of the symposium is the <strong>Faculty of Philosophy and Religious Studies</strong> of the University of Zagreb (Croatia)\, Jordanovac 110.</p>\n<p>Please send<strong> applications for presentations</strong> to <a href="mailto:psiha@bioetika.hr">psiha@bioetika.hr</a> by <strong>1th of April 2024.</strong></p>\n<p><strong><br></strong></p>\n<p>The organizers of this year's symposium are Centre for Bioethics of the Faculty of&nbsp\; Philosophy and Religious Studies\, Croatian Bioethics Society\, Centre of Excellence for Integrative Bioethics of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Zagreb\, Union of Croatian Mental Health Associations\, Croatian Philosophical Society\, &ldquo\;Andrija &Scaron\;tampar&rdquo\; School of Public Health\, Croatian Institute for Research and Evaluation of Mental Health.</p>
