DESCRIPTION:<p>We invite the submission of individual paper abstracts for &amp\;HPS5\, the 5th<br> conference of a series of international conferences under the general<br> heading of "Integrated History and Philosophy of Science". Previous<br> conferences took place at the University of Pittsburgh\, Center for<br> Philosophy of Science (2007)\, University of Notre Dame\, the History and<br> Philosophy of Science Graduate Program (2009)\, Indiana University\,<br> Department of History and Philosophy of Science (2010)\, and University of<br> Athens\, Department of Philosophy and History of Science (2012). Further<br> information on these conferences:<br> <br> <a target="_blank">http://www.pitt.edu/~pittcntr/About/international_partnerships/andHPSpage.html</a><br> <br> Contributions combining the historical and philosophical analysis of<br> science (covering also the social and cultural sciences) or discussing<br> issues surrounding an integrated HPS are welcome.<br> <br> Proposals for papers (Word or pdf format) should contain:<br> - Title and abstract of the paper (1000 words)<br> - In the case of papers dealing with related topics we welcome the<br> submission of proposals for symposia.
