DESCRIPTION:<p>We&rsquo\;re thrilled to celebrate the start of the spring semester at ETH Z&uuml\;rich by welcoming Sarah Whiting\, Dean and Josep Llu&iacute\;s Sert Professor of Architecture at Harvard GSD. Professor Whiting joins us to deliver a guest lecture titled &ldquo\;Spielraum &amp\; &Ouml\;ffentlicher Raum&rdquo\;\, a reflection on the shift in popular discourses about public space\, and what they say about the future of our public realm. This event also marks the launch of a special issue of the journal <em><a href="https://ojs.library.okstate.edu/osu/index.php/jispa/issue/view/932">Architecture Philosophy</a></em>\, on the topic of &ldquo\;Public Space: the Real and the Ideal&rdquo\;.
