DESCRIPTION:<p>This workshop aims to improve our understanding of the ethical issues that arise from the use of artificial intelligence in a research setting. Topics may include dual use potential\, AI in medical diagnostics\, and the use of illegal or otherwise protected training data.</p>\n<p>The workshop is supported by the organizers of the Helmholtz Conference on Artificial Intelligence\, which begins the following day (June 12) in D&uuml\;sseldorf.</p>\n<p>If you are interested in giving a talk at this event\, please email Charles Rathkopf at c.rathkopf@fz-juelich.de with a 500-word abstract before the April 1st deadline. </p>
