DESCRIPTION:<p>I. Introduction<br><br></p>\n<p>1. The Taiwan Association for Logic\, Methodology and Philosophy of Science and Technology (LMPST Taiwan) is the local Taiwan chapter of the Division of Logic\, Methodology and Philosophy of Science and Technology (DLMPST) of the International Union of History and Philosophy of Science and Technology (IUHPST): https://www.lmpsttw.org/en/home</p>\n<p>2. The association&rsquo\;s mission is to stimulate LMPST-related research\, namely areas that fit the general label of &lsquo\;scientific philosophy&rsquo\;\, including logic\, philosophy of science\, science and technology studies (STS)\, philosophy of social science\, metaphysics\, epistemology\, philosophy of mind\, philosophy of language\, and other fields of study.</p>\n<p>3. This year\, LMPST Taiwan will hold its annual conference on June 8th and 9th (Saturday and Sunday).</p>\n<p>4. LMPST Taiwan invites philosophers to give professional academic talks\, and also invites experts from various fields (scientists\, humanities scholars\, etc.) to share their perspectives\, insights\, ideas\, or experiences in layman's language\, with no specific format required.</p>\n<p>5. This year's conference <strong>is bilingual and&nbsp\;encourages English sessions to increase foreign and international participation.</strong></p>\n<p>6. This year&rsquo\;s conference will also feature a forum on AI research\, inviting several experts to share their experiences and practical advice on philosophers and humanities scholars&rsquo\; contributions to AI research.&nbsp\;<br><br></p>\n<p>II.
