DESCRIPTION:<p>We are incredibly excited to announce the inaugural&nbsp\;<strong>Melbourne Critical Theory Winter School</strong>\, to be held from&nbsp\;<strong>8-12 July 2024</strong>&nbsp\;at the University of Melbourne&rsquo\;s Parkville campus.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>We will be joined in Melbourne by Professor Oliver Feltham (American University of Paris) and Associate Professor Jessica Whyte (UNSW).<br><br></p>\n<p>The Melbourne Critical Theory School will be held annually\, taking up a pressing topic to confront contemporary critical theory and philosophy. Our theme for 2024 is &lsquo\;Times of Catastrophe&rsquo\;.&nbsp\;<br><br></p>\n<p>Applications are open now\, closing&nbsp\;<strong>1 May</strong>.&nbsp\;We welcome participants at all career stages\, and especially encourage graduate students and early-career academics to apply.&nbsp\;Bursaries are available for participants travelling interstate/overseas.&nbsp\;<br><br></p>\n<p>Please see our website for further details.</p>
