DESCRIPTION:<p>This is a call for papers for the 85th Virginia Philosophical Association annual conference\, to be held at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg\, VA.</p>\n<p>The conference will run from Friday afternoon\,<strong> October 11\, 2023 </strong>through Saturday lunchtime\, <strong>October 12\, 2023.</strong></p>\n<p>The Keynote speakers will be Wendy Parker (Virginia Tech) and Erin Taylor (Washington &amp\; Lee).</p>\n<p>We welcome submissions in any area of philosophy from philosophers and graduate students. Papers should be no longer than 4\,500 words. Please prepare the paper as a PDF for blind review and include a brief abstract. Please provide your name\, affiliation\, and whether you are a graduate student in the body of the email.
