\nAlluding to Ernst Cassirer&rsquo\;s 1931 lecture Hermann Cohen&rsquo\;s Philosophy in its Relationship to Judaism\, this conference is dedicated to the philosophical constellations that emerge from the works of Salomon Maimon\, Cohen and Cassirer&mdash\;celebrating both Cassirer&rsquo\;s 150th and Kant&rsquo\;s 300th birthdays. Our first point of departure are the long-noticed philosophical affinities between Maimon and Cohen\, which\, however\, do not stem from a direct influence on Cohen (e. g. concerning the conceptualist reading of Kant and the importance of the infinitesimal calculus)\; on the other hand\, in view of the current renewed interest in Maimon&rsquo\;s &oelig\;uvre\, we will reassess the early reception of Maimon dominated by the Marburg school\, especially after Cassirer&rsquo\;s work on Maimon. Furthermore the three philosophers have in common that they consciously position themselves as Jewish thinkers within the philosophical discourse. They draw from Jewish\, rabbinical intellectual traditions\, that are indispensable for their innovations\, while at the same time seeking to advance philosophy in the singular\, unconstrained by denomination and ancestry\, building on the Kantian philosophical revolution. We aim to illuminate the relationship between Kantianism and Judaism within the works of these thinkers from a fundamental perspective. To do so\, we connect the different fields of theoretical philosophy\, practical philosophy\, and philosophy of religion. In joint readings and discussions of key passages from Kant we will take up the grappling of our three philosophers with the interpretation of the Kantian text\, which was a decisive point of departure for their philosophy.
\nIn Anlehnung an Ernst Cassirers Vortrag Hermann Cohens Philoso-phie in ihrem Verhä\;ltnis zum Judentum (1931) und anlä\;sslich Cassirers 150. und Kants 300. Geburtstags widmen wir uns den philosophischen Verbindungen zwischen den Werken Salomon Maimons\, Cohens und Cassirers. Ausgangspunkt sind zum einen die bereits frü\;h bemerkten\, auf keine direkte Beeinflussung zurü\;ckzufü\;hren-den philosophischen Affinitä\;ten zwischen Maimon und Cohen (etwa bezü\;glich ihrer konzeptualistischen Kant-Interpretation und der Bedeutung des Infinitesimalkalkü\;ls)\; zum anderen mö\;chten wir angesichts des erneuten Forschungsinteresses an Maimon die frü\;he\, im Anschluss an Cassirer durch die Marburger Schule bestimmte Maimon-Rezeption neu wü\;rdigen. Die drei Philosophen verbindet zudem ihre selbstbewusste Position als jü\;dische Denker im philosophischen Diskurs\, wobei sie auf fü\;r ihre Innovationen unverzichtbare jü\;dische\, rabbinische intellektuelle Traditionen zurü\;ckgreifen\, wä\;hrend sie zugleich der &ndash\; von Konfession und Herkunft unabhä\;ngigen &ndash\; einen Philosophie im Anschluss an die philosophische Revolution Kants zum Fortschritt zu verhelfen suchen. Die Verbindung von Beiträ\;gen aus den Feldern\, der theoretischen Philosophie\, der praktischen Philosophie wie auch der Religionsphilosophie er-laubt es\, auf einer grundlegenden Ebene ein Licht auf die historischen Entwü\;rfe eines Verhä\;ltnisses des Kantianismus zum Judentum zu werfen. In der gemeinsamen Lektü\;re und Diskussion kantischer Schlü\;sselpassagen suchen wir an das Ringen jener drei Philosophen um das Verstä\;ndnis des kantischen Textes als einen Ausgangspunkt ihres Denkens anzuknü\;pfen.
