DESCRIPTION:<p>Experimental Philosophy Group UK invites\nthe submission of 500-word abstracts for 45-minute presentations or poster\npresentations on the subject of &lsquo\;Intuitions\, Experiments and Philosophy&rsquo\; for\ntheir upcoming workshop.&nbsp\; Keynote\npresentations will be given by Shaun Nichols (University of Arizona) and Simone\nSchnall (University of Cambridge).</p>\n<p>The following is a list of suggested\ntypes of content and possible topics:</p>\n<p>\n<ul>\n<li>Presentations of new\n  experimental work</li>\n<li>Non-experimental papers</li>\n<li>The role/relevance of empirical\n  findings in philosophy</li>\n<li>The role/relevance of intuition\n  in philosophy</li>\n<li>The empirical investigation of\n  intuitions</li>\n<li>Proposals for new experimental\n  work</li>\n<li>Expert intuitions</li>\n<li>The nature of philosophical\n  intuition</li>\n<li>Philosophical implications of\n  gender\, cultural or other demographic difference in intuition</li>\n<li>Methodological issues raised by\n  experimental philosophy</li>\n</ul>\n</p>\n<p>All high-quality submissions\nconsidered. Submissions encouraged from all levels of academia. 500-word\nabstracts to be sent as PDF or Word documents to\nexperimentalphilosophyuk@gmail.com by 7th July 2012. Subject line of email\nshould read &ldquo\;SUBMISSION [YOUR NAME]&rdquo\;. In the body of the email please state\nyour name\, affiliation and in which category (presentation or poster) you wish\nyour submission to be considered.&nbsp\; Submissions\nfor presentations that are unsuccessful will be automatically considered for\nposter presentation.
