DESCRIPTION:
Over the last few years\, philosophers in Chicago and Copenhagen have had an ongoing conversation about the second person. What does it involve to relate to another as a you? What role does it play in social cognition\, self-consciousness\, recognition and collective intentionality?&nbsp\;How is the second-person form of interpersonal nexus significant for human thought\, action and life?&nbsp\;With this workshop\, we take the conversation to a new level and aim to facilitate conversation across the traditions.
\n
The workshop is co-organized between the&nbsp\;Chicago Center for German Philosophy&nbsp\;at the University of Chicago (co-organizers: James Conant\, Matthias Haase &amp\; Adam Katwan) and the Center for Subjectivity Research at the University of Copenhagen (co-organizers: Dan Zahavi &amp\; Julia Zaenker).
