The debates around it have been very enthralling and lively. These debates include issues of the nature\, scope\, and relevance of decoloniality&mdash\;some of which are raised as objections by decolonial skeptics and advocates of transcoloniality. So\, while\, in general\, discussions of decoloniality\, transcoloniality as well as postcoloniality may take as their point of departure coloniality\, decoloniality positions itself against coloniality just as transcoloniality does against decoloniality.</p>\n<p>It is with this in mind that we are happy to announce the next edition of the African Philosophy World Conference (APWC)\, the 6th APWC\, which will be hosted by the University of Douala in Cameroon\, and which will focus on the topics of decoloniality\, transcoloniality\, coloniality and postcoloniality. We\, therefore\, welcome submissions that broadly explore the concepts of decoloniality and transcoloniality in African philosophy and the debate among scholars regarding the plausibility and viability of either decoloniality or transcoloniality for African philosophy. Les d&eacute\;bats qui l&rsquo\;entourent ont &eacute\;t&eacute\; fort passionnants et anim&eacute\;s. Ces d&eacute\;bats portent sur la nature\, la port&eacute\;e et la pertinence de la d&eacute\;colonialit&eacute\;\, certains &eacute\;tant soulev&eacute\;s comme objections par les d&eacute\;coloniaux sceptiques et les d&eacute\;fenseurs de la transcolonialit&eacute\;. Ainsi\, alors qu&rsquo\;en g&eacute\;n&eacute\;ral les discussions sur la d&eacute\;colonialit&eacute\;\, la transcolonialit&eacute\; ainsi que la postcolonialit&eacute\; peuvent prendre comme point de d&eacute\;part la colonialit&eacute\;\, la d&eacute\;colonialit&eacute\; se positionne contre la colonialit&eacute\; tout comme il en va de m&ecirc\;me de la transcolonialit&eacute\; par rapport &agrave\; la d&eacute\;colonialit&eacute\;.</p>\n<p>C&rsquo\;est en ayant cela &agrave\; l&rsquo\;esprit que nous sommes heureux d&rsquo\;annoncer la prochaine &eacute\;dition de la <em>Conf&eacute\;rence mondiale de philosophie africaine</em> (<em>CPAP</em>)\, la 6e <em>CPAP</em>\, qui sera accueillie par l&rsquo\;Universit&eacute\; de Douala au Cameroun\, et qui se concentrera sur les th&egrave\;mes de la d&eacute\;colonialit&eacute\;\, de la transcolonialit&eacute\;\, de la colonialit&eacute\; et de la postcolonialit&eacute\;.
