DESCRIPTION:<p>The <strong>University of Guadalajara\, M&eacute\;xico</strong>&nbsp\;invites the national and international academic community to submit contributions for the third issue of the Annual Journal of Human Rights and Philosophy of Law "AL&Eacute\;THEIA".</p>\n<p><strong>Submission Guidelines:</strong></p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Submission of Contributions</strong>: AL&Eacute\;THEIA welcomes original research papers addressing philosophical issues related to law or theoretical perspectives on human rights. The call is open until October 17\, 2024. Submissions should be sent to: anuario.aletheia@gmail.com.</li>\n<li><strong>Types of Contributions</strong>:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Articles</strong>: Original papers ranging from 9\,000 to 15\,000 words\, including footnotes and bibliography.Titles\, abstracts (up to 200 words)\, and five keywords must be provided in Spanish and English.</li>\n<li><strong>Notes</strong>: Brief essays\, scientific notes\, and documents intended to incite theoretical reflection on the topics covered by the journal\, up to 10\,000 words.</li>\n<li><strong>Jurisprudential Comments</strong>: Academic analyses of national and international court rulings\, ranging from 7\,000 to 11\,000 words.</li>\n<li><strong>Interviews</strong>: Interviews with leading figures whose academic relevance impacts the legal culture\, up to 8\,000 words.</li>\n<li><strong>Reviews</strong>: Theoretical commentaries on significant works published in 2023 or 2024\, with a maximum of 4\,500 words.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><strong>General Guidelines</strong>: Submissions should be in Word format (.doc)\, using Times New Roman\, 12-point font\, 1.5 line spacing\, and pre-set margins. References should follow APA 7th edition format.</li>\n<li><strong>Review Process</strong>: Upon receiving a submission\, the editorial team will ensure compliance with the general guidelines and thematic relevance. Authors will be notified of any correctable issues within 15 days. Submissions will then undergo a double-blind peer review process. Articles will be categorized as &ldquo\;publishable\,&rdquo\; &ldquo\;publishable with revisions\,&rdquo\; or &ldquo\;not publishable.&rdquo\; Discrepancies between reviews will be resolved by a third reviewer.</li>\n<li><strong>Publication</strong>: The third issue of AL&Eacute\;THEIA will be published in November 2024</li>\n<li><strong>Copyright</strong>: Authors will transfer usage\, reproduction\, and distribution rights to the Universidad de Guadalajara for academic purposes. Authors must sign a document for the protection of intellectual property.</li>\n<li><strong>Exclusivity</strong>: Authors must refrain from disclosing their submissions during the evaluation process. Violations will result in automatic disqualification.</li>\n<li><strong>Ethics Code</strong>: Strictly prohibited practices include plagiarism\, duplicate publication\, partial publication\, data falsification\, and ghostwriting.</li>\n<li><strong>Additional Considerations</strong>: Participation implies acceptance of all terms.
