DESCRIPTION:<p>Association of Philosophers in Aotearoa New Zealand</p>\n<p>NZAP Annual Conference 2024</p>\n<p>University of Otago</p>\n<p>Dunedin\, New Zealand</p>\n<p>2-5 December</p>\n<p>Call for Abstracts</p>\n<p>We welcome abstracts of 150-200 words in all areas of philosophy. Single paper presentations will be scheduled for 55 minutes\, with 30-35 minutes for presentation and the remainder for discussion.</p>\n<p>We are happy to consider author meets critics and multi-author panel sessions. For these sessions\, please submit an abstract of 250-350 words\, and please include the names of all speakers for the session. Three speaker sessions will run for 2 hours and can have a variety of formats.</p>\n<p>Please send abstracts with title\, name\, and affiliation (if any) by email to Michael LeBuffe: <u>michael.lebuffe@otago.ac.nz</u> . Please allow two weeks after abstract submission for a decision.</p>\n<p>Deadline for abstracts: 15 October\, 2024</p>\n\n\n<p><strong>We encourage attendees also to come to a W</strong><strong>ānanga on Alter-native Philosophy that precedes the main conference on 2 December.</strong></p>\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp\;</strong></p>\n\n<p>Kia ora koutou. You are invited to a wānanga on Alter-native Philosophy\, to be held at Ōtākou Whakaihu Waka (the University of Otago) on Monday December 2nd 2024\, immediately preceding the NZAP conference. </p>\n\n\n\n<p>The day will include some talks and some roundtable kōrerorero. If you would like to give a talk\, please send a title and abstract to <a href="https://mailman.anu.edu.au/mailman/listinfo/aphil-l">justine.kingsbury at waikato.ac.nz</a>justine.kingsbury at waikato.ac.nz</a>> and <a href="https://mailman.anu.edu.au/mailman/listinfo/aphil-l">bookems at gmail.com</a>bookems at gmail.com</a>> by October 15th.&nbsp\; Any talks that are about or illustrate alternative ways of doing philosophy are welcomed\, including but not limited to papers in indigenous philosophy and papers at the intersection of Māori and tauiwi philosophies.</p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone registered for the NZAP conference can attend the wānanga at no extra charge.</p>\n\n
