DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>WHEN?</strong> 19th and 20th November 2024</p>\n<p><strong>APPLICATION:</strong> abstract (approx. 500 words) by <strong>September 22\, 2024</strong></p>\n<p><strong>E-MAIL:</strong>filozofski.simpozij@gmail.com</p>\n<p>The Department of Philosophy (Faculty of Arts\, University of Maribor)\, its students\, and The Slovenian Society for Analytic Philosophy (DAF) are honoured to invite any graduate and PhD students to the <strong>ninth annual international Philosophy Students&rsquo\; Symposium</strong>.</p>\n<p>The event will take place on the 19h and 20h of November 2024 at the Faculty of Arts in Maribor &ndash\; <strong>this symposium will be held in-person\, so please do not apply if you can only attend online</strong>.</p>\n<p>In order to apply you must send us an abstract of your work\, approximately <strong>500 words</strong> long (suitable for a 20&ndash\;30 min presentation). Send your abstract and your personal information (name\, surname\, department\, faculty\, university\, e-mail\, degree) in two separate files (preferably .doc or .docx)\, ready for a blind review\, by <strong>September 22</strong>\, to the following e-mail: <a href="mailto:filozofski.simpozij@gmail.com">filozofski.simpozij@gmail.com</a>.</p>\n<p><strong>The topic this year is limited to <u>analytic philosophy from all possible angles</u>. We would appreciate it if the abstracts sent were in the English language\, as that will be the official working language of the conference.</strong></p>\n<p><strong><u>Conference fee is 10&euro\;.</u></strong></p>\n<p>The selection of papers eligible for the presentation will have been made by <strong>September 30</strong>\, when all the accepted applicants will be notified.</p>\n<p><strong>If enough participants will be interested\, they will be given an opportunity to publish their work in a peer reviewed student compendium\, reviewed by Faculty professors. </strong></p>\n<p>Please\, if you have any further questions\, do not hesitate to contact us.
