ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DEADLINE: October 4\, 2024

The 2024 meeting of the \;Iowa \;Philosophical \;Society will be held at \;Iowa \;State University in Ames\, \;Iowa \;on Saturday\, October 26. \; The keynote address will be delivered by Professor Dale Dorsey (Kansas). \;
Papers on any \;philosophical \;topic are welcome from faculty\, independent scholars\, and graduate students. \;Please submit an abstract (of approximately 500-750 words) by e-mail to \;iowaphilsoc@iastate.edu \;by October 4\, 2024 (.docx or .pdf preferred). \;Accepted presentations will be allotted 50 minutes\, with an expectation of 20-25 minutes of discussion. Notice of acceptance will be sent by Monday\, October 7.
There will be a modest registration fee for attendees\, including presenters: $20 for faculty\; $5 for graduate students and independent scholars\; and no charge for other attendees.
