DESCRIPTION:<p><a name="OLE_LINK290"></a><a name="OLE_LINK276"></a>On <strong>March 7-8\, 2025</strong>\, the Philosophy Department at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign will hold its&nbsp\;<a name="OLE_LINK287"></a>46th Annual&nbsp\;<a name="OLE_LINK286"></a>Graduate Philosophy Conference. We are pleased to announce that our keynote speaker will be <strong>Michael Otsuka</strong> from Rutgers University.</p>\n<p>We invite graduate students to submit papers for presentation in any area of philosophy\, with priority given to papers related to moral and political philosophy. All submitted papers should: (i) not exceed 3\,000 words (not including abstracts\, footnotes\, and references)\, (ii) be preceded by a 200-word abstract\, and (iii) be prepared for blind review.</p>\n<p><a name="OLE_LINK277"></a>Accepted papers will have 20 minutes for presentation\, followed by a 10-minute comment period and a 20-minute Q&amp\;A session. Each paper will be assigned a graduate student commentator.</p>\n<p>Please use your paper title as the document&rsquo\;s name.
