DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>2nd ENPM Conference 2025 - AI in Music: Creation\, Performance and Interpretation</strong><br> <strong>European Network for the Philosophy of Music (ENPM)</strong><br> <strong>September 25&ndash\;27\, 2025 | Strasbourg\, France</strong></p>\n&nbsp\;\n\n<p>The European Network for the Philosophy of Music (ENPM) invites submissions of paper abstracts for its second conference\, hosted by the <strong>Centre de Recherche et d&rsquo\;Exp&eacute\;rimentation sur l&rsquo\;Acte Artistique (CREAA)</strong> of the University of Strasbourg\, from <strong>September 25&ndash\;27\, 2025</strong> in Strasbourg (France). The conference is organized in partnership with the <strong>Festival Musica Strasbourg</strong>\, a yearly festival dedicated to contemporary music\, which will take place concurrently with the conference.</p>\n\n<p>The <strong>2025 Edition</strong> of the Festival will highlight the intersections between music and artificial intelligence. The ENPM welcomes submissions on any topic in the philosophy of music. However\, to foster cooperation with the Festival Musica\, the ENPM <strong>encourages submissions focused on the relationship between music and AI</strong>\, from a philosophical perspective.</p>\n\n<p><strong>Confirmed Keynote Speakers:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Lydia Goehr</strong>\, Professor of Humanities\, Department of Philosophy\, Columbia University</li>\n<li><strong>Alexander Schubert</strong>\, Contemporary Composer and Professor at Musikhochschule Hamburg (premiering a new work at the Festival Musica 2025)</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>The ENPM Conference will also feature two sessions of the <strong>Music and Action</strong> conference\, co-organized by <strong>Alessandro Bertinetto</strong> (University of Turin) and <strong>Daniel Martin Feige</strong> (Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden K&uuml\;nste Stuttgart).</p>\n\n<p>Accepted papers will be eligible for publication associated with the conference.
