DESCRIPTION:<p>The&nbsp\;<strong>2025 West Coast Plato Workshop</strong>&nbsp\;will be dedicated to<em><strong>&nbsp\;</strong></em><em>Alcibiades I&nbsp\;</em>and<em>&nbsp\;</em>will take place on&nbsp\;<strong>May 16-18\, 2025\,&nbsp\;</strong>at the&nbsp\;<strong>University of California\, San Diego</strong>.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>The workshop will be in person. Anyone interested in participating can submit an abstract or volunteer to give a comment on a paper. Submissions should consist of two separate pages: (i) the title of the paper\, name(s)\, academic rank(s)\, affiliation(s)\, and&nbsp\;email&nbsp\;contact(s) of author(s)\; (ii) title and 500-word abstract prepared for blind review. Submissions should be double-spaced in 12-point font. Word or PDF formats only.&nbsp\;<br>&nbsp\;<br>Refereeing for submissions will be double blind. Early career researchers and members of underrepresented groups in&nbsp\;philosophy&nbsp\;are encouraged to apply. &nbsp\; I am delighted to announce&nbsp\;that<strong>&nbsp\;Cinzia Arruzza (BU) and&nbsp\;</strong><strong>Fiona Leigh (UCL)&nbsp\;</strong>will be keynote speakers. &nbsp\;<br><strong>DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS:&nbsp\;DECEMBER 10\, 2024</strong>.&nbsp\;Send paper proposals and/or volunteer as a commentator to&nbsp\;pmarechal@ucsd.edu.
