The Social Epistemology Network Event is a bi-annual event offering scholars the opportunity to present work on any topic in social epistemology. \; \;Social Epistemology is interpreted broadly\, as the study of the social dimensions of the acquisition\, storage\, dissemination\, and evaluation of knowledge and belief\; and we welcome philosophical work that engages with related disciplines (including psychology\, political science\, sociology\, the information sciences\, anthropology\, journalism\, communication studies\, science and technology studies\, and education theory). \;This regularly-scheduled event is part of the Social Epistemology Network's regular offerings. \; \;
\nThe local accommodations for this event will be the Glover Park Hotel. We recommend booking a room from Friday\, August 29th to Tuesday\, September 2. The Glover Park Hotel has adjusted the rate available for our group block from $219 to $185.
