DESCRIPTION:<p>The Social Epistemology Network Event is a bi-annual event offering scholars the opportunity to present work on any topic in social epistemology.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;Social Epistemology is interpreted broadly\, as the study of the social dimensions of the acquisition\, storage\, dissemination\, and evaluation of knowledge and belief\; we welcome philosophical work that engages with related disciplines (including psychology\, sociology\, the information sciences\, anthropology\, journalism\, and education theory).&nbsp\;This regularly-scheduled event is part of the Social Epistemology Network's regular offerings.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>This is a call for papers. Any topic in social epistemology (broadly understood) is acceptable.&nbsp\; Submissions should include two separate documents (in Word or PDF only): (1) a cover page\, including all contact information\, the title of the paper\, and word count\; and (2)&nbsp\;submissions of manuscripts of no more than 4000 words\,&nbsp\;prepared for anonymous review.&nbsp\; Submissions (with these two attachments) should be sent to Alex Raycroft:&nbsp\;<strong>ar1734@georgetown.edu&nbsp\;</strong>with &ldquo\;SENE 4 submission&rdquo\; in the subject line.&nbsp\; Submissions are due by no later than&nbsp\;15 January 2025.&nbsp\; Notification of acceptances should be made some time in the early Spring.&nbsp\;</p>
