SUMMARY:Singularity: A Relation to Infinity
UID:20260418T181754Z-iCalPlugin-Grails@philevents-web-f5d4878dd-x5n6c
TZID:Europe/London
DESCRIPTION:<p>Singularity is normally understood as an ultimate determination of reality\, which makes it coincide with the individual. Individual means &lsquo\;non-divisible&rsquo\;\, or\, in Greek\, atom. By referring to some classical issues in philosophy (the monism-dualism\, or pluralism relationship) and more particularly to Hegel\, I intend to argue that\, on the contrary\, singularity consists in the possibility of division to infinity\, and thus with a certain relationship to infinity.</p>
