DESCRIPTION:<p>CFA: 18th Annual Suncoast Graduate Philosophy Conference</p>\n<p>Submission deadline: January 31\, 2025</p>\n<p>Conference date(s): March 29\, 2025</p>\n<p>The Philosophy Graduate Student Organization of the University of South Florida invites submissions to our eighteenth annual Suncoast Graduate Philosophy Conference. The conference will be held at the University of South Florida\, in Tampa\, FL\, on Saturday\, March 29th\, 2025.</p>\n<p><strong><br></strong></p>\n<p>We welcome papers on any topic in philosophy. Papers will be assessed both for their overall quality and for a diversity of themes and theses. Each speaker will be allotted an approximately forty-minute time slot during which they will deliver their remarks and participate in Q&amp\;A (we recommend preparing your remarks to last no longer than 15-20 minutes in order to allow for robust Q&amp\;A).</p>\n<p><strong><br></strong></p>\n<p>Please send an abstract (150-300 words) anonymized for blind review by January 31st\, 2025. In addition\, send a separate document stating your name\, affiliation\, contact information\, and the title of your paper. Email all documents to&nbsp\;elinehan@usf.eduand claflin@usf.edu. Acceptances will be announced by the middle of February\, at which point possible travel accomodations by our department will be discussed with the speakers.</p>\n<p><strong><br></strong></p>\n<p>Keynote Speaker: TBA</p>\n<p><br>***N.B. this is an in-person conference. Virtual presentations will not be considered.</p>
