DESCRIPTION:<p>When are we complicit in the wrongful actions of others? The question arises in a wide range of contexts such as medicine\, war\, climate change\, human subject research\, cyber security\, and the law. This workshop aims to bring together international scholars\, especially moral philosophers\, to critically engage with one another&rsquo\;s work on complicity\, from the purely theoretical to the highly applied.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>The workshop will be held at University of Toronto&rsquo\;s Centre for Ethics over a two day period with 5 papers per day.</p>\n<p>We welcome submissions from faculty and graduate students. Those interested in participating should submit a detailed abstract (maximum 550 words) with no author-identifying information to Julie Tannenbaum at julie.tannenbaum@pomona.edu by January 31\, 2025.
