DESCRIPTION:<p>The 2nd Annual Susanne E. Foster Graduate Philosophy Conference will be held on Saturday\, April 5th\, 2025 as a hybrid in-person/online conference. The in-person location for the conference will be Marquette University in Milwaukee\, Wisconsin. Van Orman is a Lecturer and the undergraduate coordinator in the Institute for Artificial Intelligence at the University of Georgia. She teaches courses including. Artificial Intelligence\, Ethics and AI\, Philosophy of Mind and Cognitive Science. She received a grant from the National Humanities Center to develop a course on Responsible AI\, now taught regularly. Her research areas include philosophy of mind\, philosophy of science and the ethical implications of AI.&nbsp\; She is also the chair of the Teaching and Learning Committee of the American Association of Philosophy Teachers.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Abstracts are to be prepared for presentations that will be 20 minutes long.
